Huna Huna Cliff Resort is just a 45 kilometer drive north of Cebu City and situated along the sea coast of Catmon in the Northern Province of Cebu.
Our resort is situated on the hillside overlooking the Camotes Sea with its Marble Tiles intricately put together which recreates an atmosphere reminiscent of the Mediterranean coastal stone houses.

For many years, I had visited Monte Carlo Resort ( now as Huna – Huna ) when the owners, The Hakkens, asked if I would like to buy part of the resort. Which consisted of four rooms, the ablution block, and the restaurant. Also, the land between the restaurant and the four rooms.
Merly, my wife and I decided that it would be a great idea as we loved the place so much. Firstly, we decided to build small two bedroom house, in the style of the adjacent existing house. So as to be sympathetic with the surroundings. About a year later, the rest of the property was offered to us and we decided to buy it, this prompted the decision to look at the property as a whole and seeing it’s potential, embark on developing six new rooms, all having a sea view with bathrooms on suite and verandas to all rooms. This also enabled us to have a roof deck with a connecting bridge, also new staircases so access to all areas of the resort was made easy. We also decided to improve all of the lower deck with a buffet counter, and traditional wood pizza oven. Next came the development of the long cottage which seats twenty or more people for a conference area / party room etc.
We then bowed to popular demand and totally revamped the sea pool into an infinity edge pool to include two hydrotherapy beds, in pool bar and jacuzzi, also increasing the deck area to accommodate more people for weddings, celebrations etc. Also, the existing four cottages have been totally revamped with new seating to make it more comfortable for the guests, a roof has also been created to connect two cottages and an undercover seating area for the guests. We are constantly making improvements so as to achieve the Mediterranean dream. We hope you enjoy our concept that has occupied almost two decades of development.
